LACEnano Rotary Tattoo Machine with Brushless Motor and Magnetic Drive (Box)

The LACEnano is the lightest machine available on the market that combines the best features of coil and rotary tattoo machines. By being the first machine in the world that uses brushless electric motor technology and a magnetic drive, the LACEnano has the power and precision performance like no other.

Each LACEnano machine is machined individually from a solid block of the lightest and strongest blend of aircraft aluminum. It weighs only 1.6oz (46g) and is designed for an ergonomic hold with both liner and magnum tattoo needles. Artists will also feel less strain while working, because the LACEnano uses dental machine bearings and an aluminum armature bar, allowing it to operate smoothly with drastically reduced vibrations.

The LACEnano has a guillotine style chuck that is compatible with any standard 8mm tube/grip. It is designed so that it will not crush the tube like similar style chucks on other machines. Please be advised that cartridge needles should not be used with the LACEnano; it will not work well due to the magnetic force transfer, making the hit of the machine less effective.

The revolutionary brushless motor technology in the LACEnano allows for optimal performance. The power to weight ratio with this 40w brushless motor is six times better than the best brushed motor in the industry. Because of this powerful motor, it is recommended that artists use a tattoo footswitch that will operate only when the foot is on the pedal so that the machine can cool off.

The LACEnano is also the first to have a full independently adjustable hit, stroke, and speed. Since the power curve is completely independent of speed, artists can run the machine at full power at any RPM. The hit is infinitely adjustable from soft to hard and with a stroke ranging from 0 – 6mm, the LACEnano can be used for any type of tattooing with absolute ease.

Another great feature of the LACEnano tattoo machine is that it is 100% maintenance free, so that artists don’t have to spend any time taking the machine apart or lubricating it. The entire LACEnano machine including the motor can be autoclaved (up to 135°C) and/or cleaned with standard disinfectants and cleaners.

The LACEnano tattoo machine is designed to be used exclusively with the LACEnano power supply and cable due to the brushless motor technology. The LACEnano power supply has only one knob and uses an algorithm allowing it to adjust the torque of the machine motor automatically, taking the guesswork out of determining the best voltage. This power supply will control your machine speed range from 2000 to 8000 RPM.

The LACEnano Tattoo Machine Box comes with the following contents:
  • LACEnano rotary tattoo machine
  • LACEnano power supply
  • International wall adapter (plugs for EU, UK, and USA included)
  • LACEnano power cable
  • Aluminum flight case with foam padding
  • Certificate of authenticity and user manual
Please Note: Discounts will not be accepted with this item.

A footswitch must be purchased separately. All other components of the LACEnano Tattoo Machine Box are designed to work exclusively together. Please do not try to use other power supplies and/or cords with the LACEnano tattoo machine, or other machines with the LACEnano power supply.

I am very Pleased with it's performance. It runs smoothly, is very quiet and lays down crisp smooth lines, blends and packs color like a champ!
I just finished on my first review video using the "LACEnano Machine".
I am very Pleased with it's performance. It runs smoothly, is very quiet and lays down crisp smooth lines, blends and packs color like a champ!
The feel of the machine is astonishing, it feels like I'm using a pen or writing tool because it is so light. The only weight I could actually feel was from my stainless steel FAT grips. It is very easy to change out for different tubes and needles. I finished this 4 leaf clover cover up tattoo using the LACEnano exclusively. The person I was working on had mentioned to me that the quietness of the machine also made a big difference in her pain tolerance level. She said she felt more comfortable and did not once feel annoyed by the sound she was used too by noisy teeth grinding sounds that coils make. Also color laid in on just 1 or 2 passes with no problem pushing a 9 round shader and liner.
I really love this little machine and it will now be my primary workhorse for all my future tattoos. The simplicity of this machine is genius and I love the fact that there are no fragile parts. Everything is solid, it performs soundly and cleanup was easy.
Here is a video of the tattoo I did using this slick little machine.
I do not work for LACEnano nor do I receive any commissions.
I just really love my new machine and wanted to share it with my subscribers.
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think!
All The Best!

Threading

What Are Threads?

Body Jewelry that has an end ball that screws on and off have threads.  This body jewelry includes straight barbells, curved (bent) barbells, circular barbells, and labret jewelry.  A thread is a spiral ridge that winds either internally or externally around the metal like that on a bolt or the inside of a nut.

What is the difference between Internal and External?

Externally threaded body jewelry has the thread on the end of the barbell, external to the shaft, and it is placed inside a threaded hole in the ball. When externally threaded jewelry is being passed through the piercing, the threads also pass through it, and then the ball is screwed into place.

 Externally Threaded Jewelry

Internally threaded body jewelry has a threaded hole inside the barbell, internal to the shaft and then an external thread protruding from the ball. When internally threaded jewelry is being passed through a piercing, a smooth barbell passes through the piercing, and then the ball is inserted and screwed into place.

Internally Threaded Jewelry

How to know which pieces of Jewelry Thread Together?

Each piece of jewelry has a thread pattern. Common thread patterns are found in the following table. Please note that these thread patterns are the most common for PAINFUL PLEASURES jewelry; however you must look at each piece of jewelry to determine what the actual thread pattern is.  A 0.9mm internally threaded ball or gem top will thread onto a 0.9mm internally threaded shaft. A 0.9mm internally threaded ball or gem will NOT thread onto a 0.8mm internally threaded shaft, make sense?

You also must be sure to look at not only the thread pattern but the gauge indicated.  10g through 00g that are Internally Threaded MAY have the same 2.0mm thread pattern. A 2.0mm Internally Counterbored ball meant for a 00g barbell will fit onto a 10g shaft; however the shape of the ball is meant for a 00g barbell. The same goes for all other gauges, so be cognizant when picking ends for your jewelry.

If you are not sure if two pieces will fit together, check the threading pattern.  If a listing doesn’t have a threading pattern listed, email us at support@painfulpleasures.com, we’ll update the listing and let you know.

The following table has common thread patterns found on PainfulPleasures jewelry. This is just a guide, you should check each piece of jewelry before checking out!

Common Thread Patterns on Custom Jewelry

Unlike PainfulPleausures Non-Custom Jewelry, Custom Jewelry often has threading identified with a number-dash-number (#-#).  The first number identifies the size of the thread and the second number refers to the number of threads per inch.  The thread pattern Internal "000-120" fits with jewelry with an Internal 0.9mm thread pattern. The rest of the thread patterns below will only fit with other items with the same respective thread pattern (i.e. Internal "0-80" Threading will only fit with other jewelry with the same Internal "0-80" Threading). Please Note: Internal thread patterns may vary due to the custom manufacturer/machinist, please refer to the product description for actual thread patterns used.

Thread Pattern Thread Type Gauge
000-120 Internal Often 18g, 16g, Typically fits with Internal 0.9mm Jewelry
1.2mm Internal 14g
0-80 Internal Often 12g, 10g, 8g
2-56 Internal Often 6g, 4g
4-40 Internal Often 6g, 4g, 2g
8-32 Internal Often 0g, 00g, 11mm, 13mm
